The KCC regrettably cancels 'Inner Child' concert
Dear Friends,
We are writing you at this time to confirm that our final concert at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts on April 19th entitled, Inner Child, has been cancelled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As you may know, Queen’s University has cancelled many public performances at the Isabel; a predictable, preventative measure which the Kingston Chamber Choir board fully supports. We very much regret having to cancel our final performance of the year, but the health and well being of our community and our choir members will always come first.
For those of you who have pre-purchased tickets through the Isabel, their box office will be providing you with a full refund in the coming days. For those of you who have purchased your tickets directly through our website, we will issue you a refund directly to the credit card you used to purchase your ticket(s).
Unfortunately, as a Not-for-Profit organization, the revenue from our final concert was essential to see us through our concert season. Reduced government funding has forced us to increasingly rely on sponsors, donors and ticket sales to make our concerts possible, and the revenue from this last concert was vital to our organization.
